Hi, I'm Ben. If you're going through a challenging time and you're looking to better understand why you do what you do, manage your anxieties or improve your relationships, I'm here to help.
Some of the issues that people come to see me for:
- They feel like they keep going over the same arguments again and again
- Anxiety and overthinking
- Feeling like they’ve lost a part of themselves since being in the relationship
- “Blowing off steam” with addictive behaviours (drugs, gambling, alcohol)
- Irritability and anger in their personal and professional relationships
- Someone has told them that they need to learn how to communicate better
- They feel like they’re walking on eggshells in their relationship
- A sense of being emotionally drained after trying really hard to make everything work
- Managing difficult break-ups and post break-up anxiety or depression

Some of the skills that people leave therapy with:
- A capacity to skilfully navigate tough conversations
- A greater ability to stay calm in emotionally-charged and high pressure situations
- A plan to go forward and heal from past relationships
- More confidence in themselves as men and a better understanding of healthy masculinity
- Greater clarity around who they are, what they want and why they do what they do
- A roadmap to know how to deal with slip-ups and future challenges
- More engagement in projects and goals that are for enjoyment rather than validation
- Improved sleep and energy levels
- A vision, model and set of practices for successful relationships

What my clients are saying:
"Before I started talking to Ben I don’t think I really understood why I was doing certain things. Since working with him I’ve improved my relationship a lot and I feel like myself again for the first time in a long time. I am really grateful for the work we’ve done and I know that if I ever get stuck in the same way in the future, I’ve got a solid resource to come back and use if I need it."

"My advice to anyone going through stuff would be just do it, just take the plunge. I tried therapy before and didn't get too much out of it, but for me Ben's really good at what he does. It's been so valuable to talk to someone consistently. I understand myself and my partner more and I'm getting a lot better at communicating how I feel."

"My relationship has improved so much since I started doing these sessions. Honestly, I can’t believe I waited so long to talk about this stuff. At the start I was a bit nervous but I found it easy to talk to Ben and I’ve learned so much about myself in such a short amount of time. Highly recommended!"

"I feel like since working with you I have the strength to pick myself up and take control of my mental health and well-being. I know I’ve still got a long way to go before I become the man I want to be, but I’m feeling hopeful about the future and I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve come."
