Hi, I'm Ben. If you're feeling anxious, stuck, burnt-out or just ready for a change, I'm here to help.

I am a counsellor and psychotherapist with a passion for honest conversations that change lives. I’ve worked with many people who find themselves stressed, tense, and filled with doubts. These doubts might be around health, work, relationships, money, self-image and all manner of other worries that much of the population quietly live with.

Through our conversations I’ve watched countless people develop the skills and tools to find more peace and calm, feel more in control, improve their relationships and ultimately transform their lives.

Importantly, I am someone who was has dealt with anxiety for many years. I’m also somewhat of an introvert who was initially resistant to counselling – and eventually found it to be completely life changing.

I know what it’s like sitting on both sides of the therapy room and I spent years hearing the same worries that come up in the anxious minds of my clients.

3 Things to know about my approach

  1. Our relationship is built on mutual respect, which means you are allowed to question and challenge me, as I you. Unfortunately, I’m not a magician, a wizard or a mind-reader, but I am very good at my job, I take the work we do together seriously, and I genuinely care about your wellbeing.
  2. I believe in posttraumatic growth – a response to challenging and traumatic life events that results in positive personality change: strength, resilience, courage, self-awareness, authenticity, and more engagement in life.
  3. My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Existential Psychotherapy, Neuroscience and Mindfulness-Based Approaches.
